Smart CCTV install, Newcastle — full coverage, no cable in sight
A residential install giving the homeowner full coverage of the property from their phone, backed by a hardwired network video recorder on site.
The problem
The owner wanted proper coverage of the house and garden without visible cables ruining the exterior, and reliable mobile access from anywhere.
What I did
- IP CCTV design with cable routes concealed through existing downpipes, soffits and internal runs.
- Hardwired NVR on site for 24-hour recording.
- Full-colour night vision cameras with motion detection alerts.
- Mobile app configured and tested from an off-site 4G connection before sign-off.
The result
The homeowner sees the whole property from their phone, day or night. Nothing is visible on the walls. Recording is local on-site so it doesn't depend on a cloud subscription to work.
