Business Network Assessment — £199

Know exactly what is causing your Wi-Fi, connectivity or network problems before investing in new equipment.

Book & pay online

A paid professional assessment — not a sales visit.

Accept qualifying installation work valued at £1,500 or more and the full £199 assessment fee is deducted from your final invoice.

What's included

A focused on-site review, in one visit.

JKL Electrix comes to your premises, tests the network end-to-end and leaves you with a written summary and a fixed-price quotation for any recommended work. Impartial and evidence-led — you decide what happens next.

  • Up to 90-minute on-site assessment
  • Internet speed and stability testing
  • Wi-Fi coverage and dead-zone review
  • Card terminal and POS connectivity review
  • Existing router, switches and access-point review
  • CCTV network performance review
  • Guest and business network separation review
  • Basic network security and resilience review
  • 4G or 5G failover suitability review
  • Prioritised recommendations
  • Written findings and improvement summary
  • Fixed-price quotation for recommended work

Problems it identifies

The warning signs are easy to miss.

These are usually symptoms of a poorly designed network, weak coverage, ageing equipment, interference or a lack of resilience. Buying another Wi-Fi extender rarely solves the underlying issue.

  • Card terminals disconnect
  • Customers complain about Wi-Fi
  • Staff lose connection
  • CCTV freezes or buffers
  • Some areas have no signal
  • Broadband failure stops the business

FAQs

Common questions.

Why is the assessment paid?

The assessment involves dedicated travel, on-site testing, professional analysis and written recommendations. Charging for it lets JKL Electrix give impartial advice rather than treating the visit as a free sales appointment.

Is the £199 refundable?

The full booking and cancellation terms are shown before you pay. The assessment fee is not automatically refundable after the cancellation period, or once travel and assessment work have begun.

Does the fee come off future work?

Yes. The full £199 is credited against accepted installation work valued at £1,500 or more, subject to the quotation terms and credit validity period.

Am I required to use JKL Electrix for the improvements?

No. You receive clear recommendations and can decide how to proceed.

Does the assessment include repairs?

No. The assessment covers diagnosis, testing and recommendations. Any repairs or installation labour during the visit are only carried out where separately agreed and priced.

Will I receive a report?

Yes. You'll receive a clear written summary of the findings, priorities and recommended next steps.

What areas do you cover?

JKL Electrix serves businesses across Northern Ireland. Travel outside the standard service area may need an additional agreed charge.

What happens if my site is unusually large or complex?

JKL Electrix reviews the booking details and will contact you if a bespoke assessment is more appropriate before charging anything additional.

Can you assess card terminal problems?

Yes. The assessment reviews the Wi-Fi and network conditions affecting card terminals and POS systems. Faults inside third-party payment hardware or the provider's service may still need support from the payment provider.
